We are sometimes asked why the frame is made with veneer and not solid wood, if it supposedly is such a high quality frame. The reason for this is that keeping a consistent coloration over time can be challenging with solid wood, as different trees can be differently colored from each other and even within itself. In some circumstances this would be the appeal of solid wood, but for frames we risk that parts of a frame might look discolored.
By using a thin layer of real oak veneer on these frames, we get the perfect oak color every time. Veneer can sometimes sound unappealing but a real, elegant veneer like this is only advantageous and gives a genuine and undeniable result.
